As you come over, you can no longer be seen in the factory mirror, but you can be seen in the K-Source Universal Mirror. This can assist in passing, turning and general safety while driving with your trailer.So our mirror has multiple adjustments that can be used to accommodate however you have it installed. So the rubberized straps that we have here will prevent scratching and abrasions on your mirror. The adjustable design will also allow it to be installed on multiple vehicles. CIPA Towing Mirrors Installation - 2017 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2017 RAM 2500, we'll be taking a look at the CIPA custom towing mirrors for the driver and passenger side, part number CM11400. Here at the back of our trailer, in our factory mirror, we can see clearly though if I step out to the side, we lose that visual in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror. That's going to help us when passing vehicles on the highway or trying to park our trailer. Here we have our passenger side mirror already installed. You're going to see that it's an aerodynamic shape, it's going to help to reduce wind noise. We will still have a little bit of movement here, some vibration in that mirror, but it's really going to allow you to haul any trailer comfortably. It's secured down with a bolt here in the back. It's going to have a wedge that inserts into the back. more

Today in our 2012 Ram 1500 we're going to be taking a look at the K Source Snap and Zap Custom Towing Mirrors for the driver and passenger side. Part number is KS80710. Now we've come out and backed up to a trailer here just to give you an idea of the field of view difference that you can expect from your towing mirrors. You'll see back here at the back corner, it's about a 14-foot trailer, so we start to step out, we've got plenty of room there in that factory mirror until we get to about this location. That's where that custom mirror is going to take over. It's going to allow us to really see out here quite a bit further. As we're trying to turn in tighter quarters, camping sites, things like that, we won't have to stick our head out the window or really get turned around to see, be able to see it in that mirror and navigate safely. Now we're her in the back of about a 14 foot trailer. We've got it hooked up to the back of the Ram. We just wanted to give you an idea of the field of view difference that you can expect. As you can see, the factory mirror does a pretty good job for a normal everyday kind of situations, but that towing mirror is really going to help out with that trailer when it starts swinging back here behind the vehicle. more

Today on our 2016 Ram 2500 we're taking a look at the Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 11953. Now here in our factory mirror we can see all the way to the back of our trailer but if step out to the side we lose visibility in our factory mirror but gain it in our dual-view towing mirror here. This is going to help with any kind of passing on the road and also parking. Our dual-view towing mirrors are fully adjustable to fit different style factory mirrors that you may have. We just simply undo our 2 knobs here and adjust it for the width and then loosen and tighten the straps to adjust it to secure onto your mirror. The dual faces of our mirror are fully adjustable to fit whatever view style you need. Even with our new towing mirror installed we're still able to adjust the face of our factory mirror as need be. The overall length of our dual view clip on towing mirrors is 14-1/2". more

Now, with out towing mirror in place, you can see we've extended our line of sight well past the factory mirror's limits. That's going to help us with changing lanes, passing vehicles safely and making our trip much more enjoyable. Here's what it looks like once it's installed. You can see it's going clamp around our factory mirror, just grabbing on the edges. This is going to be fully-adjustable to fit most vehicles. The outside towing mirror is fully adjustable up and down and side-to-side. The other nice feature about it is you can take the set 00:00:42 crew out of the back. more

Now, you can see me in our trailer mirror, but I'm not visible in our factory mirror anymore, so we've moved our line of sight out considerably past the outside of the trailer. It's going to make it a lot easier to change lanes and be able to see what's over there when somebody's coming up on your side. Here's what your mirror is going to look like once it's installed. You can see it's got a nice manually adjusted mirror on the outside that you can adjust to just about any angle you'd like. It's not going to interfere with your factory mirror adjustments. Today on our 2016 Ram 1500 we're going to be taking a look at and installing the K Source custom towing mirrors for your driver and passenger side, Part Number KS80710. Our mirror is going to have full range of motion, going outwards, down, up, and almost completely rotate around, giving us the full view that we're going to need to have to see whatever we're towing. The nice thing about it is it isn't going to interfere with our factory mirror, or it's operation at all. With that very unique snap on design, it's going to make it really quick and easy for you, and you aren't going to have to tighten down any straps, or turn any turn knobs, or anything like that. All you're going to have to do is push it around till it clicks in place and it's going to be nice an secure. You can see with me even pulling on that it isn't going to go anywhere. It gives you full functionality, so you can tuck it in when you're in a tight parking space, pull it out, do what you need to do, and still have that factory style and design of your mirrors. With that hard plastic that's going to be almost identical to the construction of our factory mirrors, preventing any kind of rust and corrosion, and standing up against the elements as you're towing your trailers for long distances. When we're ready to tow our vehicles it's going to be imperative that we have our K Source towing mirrors. more

CIPA Passenger Side Towing Mirrors Installation - 2016 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2016 RAM 1500 we'll be taking a look at and installing the Cepa Custom Towing Mirror for the passenger side, Part Number CM11402. Here you can see me directly aligned with the passenger side back end of our vehicle. This is going to be where you're going to want to see if you're going to be towing. If you're going to be towing something that's going to be a little bit bigger, you're going to want to see a little bit further out, and the Cepa custom towing mirrors are going to be perfect for that. Now you can see me in our Cepa custom towing mirror. The first thing we're going to do in preparation for applying our new mirror is to go ahead and clean the surface to make sure that we don't scratch our factory mirror. We'll use a little application solution of soapy water and a rag to rinse those off and make sure they're nice and clean. Once we have both mirrors nice and clean we'll go ahead and slide it over. more

Today on our 2016 Ram 1500, we will be taking a look at and installing the Long View custom tow mirrors. Now, these are going to be for your driver and passenger side, and be part number LVT-3100C. These are going to have the multi-directional mirror that you can adjust all four directions to get whatever angle you're going to need to get to get those wider shots on your trailer in those wide turns. Other than that, it's going to have a nice hard plastic construction that's going to be similar to the material used on the factory mirror, offering a nice finish just like the factory mirror does, as well, and even an accent bird on the backside to give you a little bit of style while you're driving down the road. Super easy installation, it's going to have a nice, sleek, yet rugged design. First thing we're going to want to do is clean off the back side of our mirror, so that way we don't have any grime or residue before we slide over our mirror, so we don't get any scratches. Once we've done that, we'll take our mirror, locate which one's going to be for the left and right. more

Today on our 2015 RAM 1500, we're going to review and install the CIPA custom towing mirrors, part number CM11400. Here we are at the back of our vehicle, where our towing product would be. Depending on the size and shape, it's is a good idea we're at the outer edge of our pickup truck, but if we have a bigger towing product, we might need out CIPA custom towing mirror to be able to see it. Here's what our mirror's going to look like once it's installed. As you can see, it comes over the outer edge of our mirror to hook on to it and hold it in place. We'll not interfere with the manufacturer's mirror. Our custom mirror is manually adjustable, both up, down, in and out. more

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2015 Ram 1500, we're going to review and install the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors, part number LVT-3100C. Now here's what our mirror looked like once it's installed. As you can see, our Longview mirror will slide up and over the manufacturer's or existing mirror, gripping the outer edge, not obstructing the manufacturer's mirror from being able to move. Our Longview mirror has the extension here that will tilt up, down, in, or out so that we can view our towing product. As you can see, it's a nice, aerodynamic housing made of ABS plastic for a nice, hard shell but will also resist scratching. Even with our Longview mirror on, it will still fold in for those super-tight parking situations so it's out of the way. Then we can simply fold it back out, we're ready to hit the road. Now let's go ahead and show you how to install it. Before you slide on the Longview mirror, we want to go ahead and clean the old or manufacturer's mirror to make sure there's no dust, dirt, buildup that will scratch between the two mirrors. We'll just hit it with a soap and water solution and a clean, dry cloth, wiping off any of that buildup. Now the install of our mirror is super simple. It is an easy, tool-free design as it slides up and over the manufacturer's mirror. more

Today on our 2015 Ram 1500 we'll be doing an installation of the Cipa Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 7070. This is an universal fit towing mirror that's easily mounted with no tools and increases visibility for most cars and truck applications. This mirror is fully adjustable so you can maximize your towing experience. The mirror comes with fully adjustable arms and your straps to go over your factory mirrors. I'll go ahead and place the notches on our mirrors in between the factory glass mirror and the plastic surround. Simply slide them there and then hold this in place. With the mirror held in place, we'll go ahead and adjust our rubber straps to make it tight when we pull it together. Now that we have those tightened let's go ahead and put them on. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Today, on our 2015 Ram 1500, we will be doing a test fit of the K Source Universal Towing Mirror. It's going to be a clip-on style towing mirror. It's going to be part number KS3891. This is an extra-large universal mirror, and it's going to go on over the top of your existing mirrors. As you can see your mirror here, it has four of these clips, where your straps will go into place. If one comes off or it didn't come with them on it already, go ahead and slip it through the hole, as you can see there, and it'll have grooves on the back side. It'll fit into the grooves here. more

CIPA Towing Mirrors Installation - 2013 Ram 1500- Video
Today on this 2013 Ram 1500 crew cab, we're going to show you part number CM11400. This is the Cipa custom towing mirrors for a driver and passenger sides of a truck. Now we'll go ahead and back up to one of our trailers and we'll go ahead and set up our mirrors. You can see that on the factory mirror for a truck, you see the front of the trailer just fine. Now with our towing mirror, we will actually be able to see the back of our trailer a little bit better and see what's going on towards the end of our trailer. First we'll go ahead and take a look at them installed in a truck already. more

CIPA Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2014 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram 1500 were going to be installing the Cipa Slip-On Universal Mirror, part number 7070. A couple neat features real quick about this mirror is we have the adjustable straps here at the back. It also has the stops so that way once you get that fully tighten on there you can be assured that the straps not going to slip back off the clip. This adjusts in two different areas. Weve got the pivoting motion right here at the center, its going to allow us to adjust our arms to fit a wide variety of mirrors. Then up here where the arms connect thats also going to pivot to fit different angled styled mirrors. The mirror will adjust 360 degrees so that way you can get the best fit and the best angle for your towing application. It will install on either your driver or passenger side. more

These are manual to adjust the angle that you need, that's going to best suit your towing application. The kit is going to come with two mirrors, two sets of wedges per mirror, a neoprene premium strip and a tightening hand knob that's going to help us fully secure everything in place. Today, we'll be using the thicker wedge. The thicker wedge is designed for standard mirrors. more

Today on our 2014 Ram 1500, we're going to be installing the K Source Universal Towing Mirror, Part number Ks3891. It comes with the two straps that we're going to use to tighten around the back of our factory mirror. It comes with a mirror with adjustable arms, so that way it is going to fit a wide variety of factory installed mirrors, and it's got the clips on the back for our straps to fit into. We'll go ahead an apply this to our driver side. We'll show you how it installs. We're going to take these clips and we're going to fit them into the area above and below the factory mirror. Once we've got those on there, then we're ready to move around to the back side and install our straps. more

Today on our 2014 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 Series, well be doing a test fit of the Cipa Custom Towing Mirror in the slip-on style for the driver side, part number CM11401. Heres some of the parts that youll get with your new Cipa Towing Mirror. Youll notice that theres two different wedge pieces. One of them is thicker than the other one. The thicker wedge is used for the standard black mirrors, and the thinner wedge is used for the chrome of the capped mirrors. On todays test fit well be using the thicker one here as we have standard black mirrors on our particular vehicle. Depending on which style wedge piece you would need for your particular vehicle, you need to attach this neoprene strip here to go right like this. It does have a self-adhesive backing, and you simply just peel the backing off and press it firmly in place like this. more

Today on our 2013 Ram 1500 Crew Cab, we will be installing the longview slip-on custom towing mirrors for driver and passenger sidepart number LVT-3100C. The towing mirrors slip over your factory side-view mirrors to give you a better view of the road and your trailer. This will allow you to safely and easily change lanes, pass, and park. The towing mirrors will not obstruct factory mirrors and they will not interfere with the adjustment of factory mirrors. The aerodynamic shape helps to prevent vibration and wind noise. The chrome plating on the mirror face helps minimize distortion and reduces glare, while the manually adjustable face allows you to customize your view. As you can see here, our kit includes two mirrors, two clips with threaded ends, and two hand knobs used for tightening. We will begin our installation by sliding the towing mirror onto our existing mirror. We will want to make sure that the tab is kind of favored towards the top. more
